About the event
These hands-on excursions are designed to connect classroom experience with real world adventures! Students learn about California's unique habitats by exploring ecosystems while build strength and situational awareness along the way.
This is an ideal workshop for new explorers, as the only things you need to be concerned about are wearing comfy shoes and sun screen! Together, we venture out to a new location and discuss a concept of how we can and should interact with nature. We begin with very simple, short, easy trails with no climbing or incline and work up to longer trails with some incline. Between each adventure, families are provided with mini activities and extra information to support learning integration. Because of the nature of these excursions, students must be accompanied by an adult through all aspects of our time together.
